Today is National CROWN Day!!👑 It meant so much to me to win Miss USA with my natural curls. National CROWN Day is a day of solidarity for the human rights of Black women, men and children to wear their natural hair boldly and proudly, without the fear of being discriminated against. CROWN stands for “Create a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair” by passing the CROWN Act nationwide and making National CROWN Day the hallmark of the CROWN Act movement to end race-based hair discrimination once and for all. Please take the time today to sign the CROWN Act! It is only legal in 17 states for employees to wear their hair any way they choose - we need to pass this law nationwide!! #pageantryreimagined #thecrownact
